My Pet Snake

August 30, 2014momstownCraftNo comments
Not everyone thinks that snakes make good pets. But here’s a pet snake that everyone will approve of!

We've been talking all about Pets this past month at momstown Edmonton. At our Tales for Tots program, Scholastic provided a fantastic book called "A Pet for Fly Guy" by Tedd Arnold. After reading it, we talked about what kind of a pet makes a good pet. Most of us agreed that we wouldn't like a real pet snake, but a pretend pet snake would be perfect! No need to feed or clean out any cages with pretend pet snakes! With some simple craft supplies, we got down to crafting our own pretend pet snakes! The kids loved playing with their snakes when they were done!
