Tested: Playtex® Drop-Ins™ Nurser

There’s no warning. No lead up. It’s an instant pang of hunger and my little one is screaming at the top of her lungs to eat. I have barely any time to prepare, wash or warm up a bottle before this little ticking time bomb needs to be fed. That’s why the Playtex® Drop-Ins™ Nurser Bottle is super handy and convenient for feeding time.

Up until trying this bottle, I had been using a little 4 ounce, no-liner bottle for my little one. It's been working well, but she's growing faster than I can say "breastmilk" and I've had to supplement her with even more formula than I've been currently using, and subsequently had to search for a bigger and better bottle.

One aspect that was really convenient for this 8 ounce bottle was the pre-sterilized disposable liner system. I've never used it before and always just washed my bottles, but just dropping in a new liner and only having to wash the nipple is a time-saver (which is nice for this mama of an infant and toddler). Another nice feature about the bottle was the nipple itself. We all know how important a nipple is…but seriously, it was super easy for my infant to adjust to, even after exclusively using another type of nipple. Not to mention, it's meant to help reduce colic and gas, every mother's dream!

Something I really loved about this bottle, and it seems so simple and trivial is the fact that the it has a "Protect and Store" lid. Who hasn't repeatedly lost the bottle lid or had a toddler grab it and hide it or have a dog grab it and chew it up…maybe just me? Anyways, it's really nice that the lid just pops onto the bottom of the bottle for storage AND it can still stand up with the lid on the bottom! Who thinks of this stuff?? I love it! Ahh, the things moms get excited over…

The only "con" I can think of for this bottle is the need to buy liners, as opposed to a non-liner bottle which needs a wash. It's a "boil" vs. "buy" issue, so a completely personal choice!

Overall, a nice easy to grip, convenient, bigger-sized bottle perfect for that hungry little one!
