Our Junior Chefs got together this month at McLeod Community League to make some delicious and healthy smoothies. We talked about how our bodies need vegetables and fruits every day in order to give us enough energy to grow and learn. Then, we got to making our smoothies. The great thing about a smoothie is that you can personalize it to however you like. If you don't like blueberries, use a different type of fruit. If you can't eat spinach, try kale instead. Just try to keep the ratios the same!
